One Month Later...

It has been crazy busy this semester.  Last semester, I had all the time in the world.  I'd come home after class and watch Shameless or draw or write and now? Now I'm lucky if I make it home before 11 at night.  Classes have been more difficult this  semester for sure.  French class is the hardest without a doubt.  The professor doesn't seem to understand that we are learning french.  When we don't understand, it's because we simply don't know.  She thinks we aren't trying.  But it was a bit better today.  She was more understanding when we didn't understand.  Math is stupidly easy.  English is fantastic because the professor is a global warming nut (like me) and most of our papers or projects are over global warming and climate change.  Journalism class is boring because it's just a drag on for days, but it's important information to me nonetheless.

Adding to my crazy schedule, I have decided to join the radio stations show at 5pm and also join the news team at the station.  This has been taking up quite a bit of my time, but I love spending my time there because everyone is so chill and nice.

Now, I've made my fair share of mistakes this semester already... such as being very drunk and sleeping with someone I shouldn't have.  Or going to a concert instead of studying for an exam the next morning.  Or deciding to pull allnighters before a presentation is due.  Or decide to not eat for an entire day.  ...Yeah, not my best moments.  But- hey this is what college is about right?

Right?

I mean- I am still working insanely hard on my work and schoolwork.  Although I am getting less sleep to do homework and I don't see my friends besides one day on the weekend maybe.  I don't know.  This whole experience is shaping up to be a lot more than I expected.  Trying to balance school with work with friends with trying to make new friends because the old ones are fading with staying healthy with paying bills with figuring out a job over the summer with trying to figure out your living over the summer with trying to figure out how to make friends over the summer with everything else that occurs in daily life...

Jeez... I need help.

Wish me luck.

Until next time...
